Accurate velocity model building is essential to imaging the subsurface. At SEIMAX Technologies, we have extensive experience in building elaborate velocity models in complex geological settings, along with developing the proper anisotropic fields for each model. We use a data-driven approach to update the velocity model iteratively for each project. Between velocity update iterations, our processors collaborate with clients to interpret the data, pick horizons and adjust the model accordingly. This close interaction with our clients through live sessions and periodic interpretation refinement allows for the production of a velocity field tailored to the individual needs of the specific project.
